Suzanne Wilkins, AICP, ENV SP
“Communities around the world are developing targets to construct more sustainable and resilient infrastructure,” says environmental planner Suzanne Wilkins. “I’m inspired by the sustainability planning and investment by the federal and state governments to protect our citizens and vulnerable infrastructure from climate change impacts.”
Suzanne has over 30 years of experience managing environmental, federal and state regulatory permitting compliance. She has developed several environmental documents within the frameworks of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). Suzanne is an Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure (ISI) Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP) and weaves her passion for sustainability in every project she contributes to.
“I love working with design teams to obtain permits and guide them through the process,” she says. “I also enjoy conducting Envision Sustainability Rating System assessments for projects and collaborating with project teams throughout planning, design and construction to guarantee the chosen sustainability components are implemented.”
