Justin Feek

Justin has extensive public and private sector trans­porta­tion planning experience at state, county, and city levels of government in multiple states. His experience working directly with the Federal Highway Admin­is­tra­tion (FHWA), councils of governments (COG)s and metro­pol­i­tan planning orga­ni­za­tion (MPO) processes has provided him a diverse under­stand­ing of procurement, trans­porta­tion planning, project scoping, stakeholder outreach, trans­porta­tion system data analysis, and public outreach practices.

Helping others find work, identify their passions, utilize their talents, and experience personal and profes­sional growth gives me a great sense of joy and accom­plish­ment,” Justin says. “I enjoy helping others learn from my mistakes and lessons I have learned throughout my career so they can avoid the same pitfalls and enhance their own personal and profes­sional growth.”

Justin’s vast experience has provided him with a broad and well-rounded under­stand­ing of multimodal trans­porta­tion improve­ments, including freeway development, arterial planning, transit, bicycle, and pedestrian consid­er­a­tions. He has developed and managed high-value trans­porta­tion improvement programs, often facing political challenges. This experience has strength­ened his ability to anticipate potential issues, plan effectively, and address obstacles in program development and delivery.

“I’m passionate about this field because I have always been intrigued by the intricate rela­tion­ships between the economy, natural environment, built environment, land use, socioe­co­nom­ics, and human behavior. I enjoy under­stand­ing the unique natural and social oppor­tu­ni­ties and constraints facing communities and working to improve the quality of life and trans­porta­tion choices for people of all walks of life.”
