Ralf Röser
Ralf Röser studied geology due to his keen interest in natural sciences. He now leads the Energy, as well as Field and Laboratory business divisions at CDM Smith, and is a member of the management board. As an expert in redevelopment, his activities are centred on consultancy, planning, and project management. He is passionate about resolving complex problems strategically and analytically—a skill he demonstrated in the revitalisation of the former industrial harbor in Offenbach, Germany. Among other achievements, he developed a strategy for the post-industrial era of the site, which allowed for necessary remediation measures while maximising freedom for investors. Additionally, he is responsible for specific technical services supporting the development of the site.
Ralf values the fact that CDM Smith is a privately owned company, as this independence provides the company with every opportunity to participate in market developments.
He identifies most with the core value of shared responsibility, viewing it as a vital prerequisite for meeting challenges and changes over time with suitable strategies. Ralf appreciates challenges and demanding customers, seeing them as opportunities for growth and improvement. His personal motto is to always think positively.
