doctors without borders
Doctors Without Borders operates in more than 70 countries, delivering independent and impartial medical assistance to those in crisis including people affected by conflict and natural and human-made disasters. Their teams adapt to provide the highest quality care in some of the world’s most challenging circumstances. CDM Smith’s donation of $25,000 grants their financial independence, helping Doctors Without Borders mobilize efficiently to provide lifesaving medical support.
operation helo
When roads are impassable and communities are left isolated from disasters, Operation Helo offers hope from above. With helicopters loaded with essentials like food and water, the organization flies into areas unreachable by land to deliver aid, including communities affected by Hurricane Helene. CDM Smith’s donation of $12,500 equips Operation Helo with supplies to assist their community-oriented mission the next time disaster strikes.
project purple
Founded in 2010, Project Purple strives to create a world without pancreatic cancer. The nonprofit organization has impacted thousands of diagnosed patients and their families, emphasizing their commitment to fighting this difficult disease. CDM Smith’s donation of $10,000 will help fund awareness efforts, patient financial aid, treatment and early detection research.
CDM Smith’s Wellness Program rewards employees and their dependents for healthy behaviors and accomplishments with the goal of a healthier, more productive, happy and focused workforce. Participants earn wellness points that the firm converts to dollars to donate to charities chosen by CDM Smith’s Executive Leadership Team and by employee vote. Since the Wellness Program’s start in 2017, employee participation has resulted in more than $1.4 million in charitable donations.
