CDM Smith Donates to the Animal Welfare Association, Convoy of Hope and North Carolina Community Foundation through Employee Wellness Program
BOSTON – CDM Smith donated $50,000 to three charities as part of the firm’s Employee Wellness Program and commitment to giving back. A $25,000 donation was made to the Animal Welfare Association (AWA), a $12,500 donation was made to Convoy of Hope and another $12,500 donation was made to the North Carolina Community Foundation (NCCF).

Animal Welfare Association
The Animal Welfare Association is a South New Jersey shelter dedicated to saving the lives of animals in urgent need by providing low-cost veterinary services, behavioral training, community outreach initiatives and educational programs. CDM Smith employees’ donation of $25,000 will support their mission of providing animals with a second chance, ensuring more animals receive the love and care that they deserve.
Convoy of Hope
Founded in 1994, Convoy of Hope is a humanitarian, faith-based organization with the goal to provide help and hope where it’s needed the most. Fueled by kindness, they supply solutions to the root causes of poverty and hunger. CDM Smith’s donation of $12,500 will help Convey of Hope enhance these important efforts and secure long-term prosperity for the organization.
North carolina Community foundation
North Carolina Community Foundation is an organization that connects individuals with local causes they genuinely care about, emphasizing lasting impact and meaningful philanthropy. They make significant, personal contributions to their communities, and with CDM Smith’s donation of $12,500, they will be able to drive increased positive change across the state.
CDM Smith’s Wellness Program rewards employees and their dependents for healthy behaviors and accomplishments with the goal of a healthier, more productive, happy and focused workforce. Participants earn wellness points that the firm converts to dollars to donate to charities chosen by CDM Smith’s Executive Leadership Team and by employee vote. Since the Wellness Program’s start in 2017, employee participation has resulted in $1.4 million in charitable donations.
