Swagata has over two decades of experience handling multi-million-dollar projects involving multiple engineering disciplines within water/wastewater treatment and transportation projects, including Process and Power. 

 

“I am proud and grateful to be able to make a positive impact in the daily lives of people through the water/wastewater, transportation design, and construction work I do in my career,” Swagata says.  

 

A passionate and innovative problem-solver, she has extensive knowledge in project management, design engineering, and applied research and construction management. When it comes to interfacing clients, contractors, design engineers, and operations personnel, Swagata is your pro.  

 

She is most proud of her work as a construction manager on Sound Transit’s North-Link Rail Expansion Project in Seattle, Washington. By making public transit and commute downtown more accessible to North Seattle residents, the project provided a huge impact to the public. “The biggest highlight for me was when two of the stations I worked on finally opened and on a subsequent visit to Seattle (after I had moved back to NYC), I was able to ride the light rail from these stations,” Swagata says.
