GERMANY—The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Europe District awarded CDM Smith two, 1-year indefinite delivery contracts (IDCs) to provide general architect and engineering (A-E) services in Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg. The estimated value of these contracts is $95 million each. Under the contracts, the firm will compete for future task-orders for a wide range of projects. CDM Smith has already been selected for three separate design task-orders already upon the award of these two IDCs.

Primary services include the completion of designs for new construction and alteration, repair, or rehabilitation of various facilities and infrastructure. As multiple types of funding support these projects, the projects vary from small-scale renovations to large-scale campus-wide designs. The award of the two IDCs reflects the firm’s extensive A-E experience and versatile design capabilities. Additionally, the design requirements for these projects must consider U.S. design codes, host-nation-specific design codes and standards, as well as North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) requirements, a complex process that CDM Smith leads with excellence.

CDM Smith colleagues in the US and Europe seamlessly collaborated to capture and deliver innovative design solutions for these key US DoD and host nation clients in support of our collective worldwide security goals.
