Elec­tri­fi­ca­tion Leader Steve Martino Joins CDM Smith

EDISON, N.J. — CDM Smith is proud to announce that Steve Martino, PE has joined the firm as the elec­tri­fi­ca­tion leader for the North America Unit. With a remarkable career spanning 35 years, Martino brings an extensive wealth of knowledge encom­pass­ing power plant operations, nuclear power system testing, electrical power system design, energy efficiency imple­men­ta­tion, and cogen­er­a­tion system design. In his new position, Martino will play a key role in CDM Smith’s efforts to help our clients plug into the future of energy.

Martino's rich experience positions him as a seasoned profes­sional in the realm of power engineering. His deep-rooted expertise extends to power plant operations, nuclear power system testing, commis­sion­ing, and operations. He has also carved a niche in medium and low voltage electrical power system design, energy efficiency imple­men­ta­tion, energy performance contracting, and cogen­er­a­tion system design.

He has led projects to provide MEP engineering design and management services for various notable projects, including those commis­sioned by the NYC Department of Envi­ron­men­tal Protection, Westchester County, the NY Power Authority, and NYC Transit, with projects spanning a broad budget range, from $10 million to $180 million in construc­tion value.
