In that role, he scoped and managed the ADOT statewide long-range transportation plan, “What Moves You Arizona,” to address statewide, diverse urban and rural transportation needs. Feek also spent several years as a principal transportation planner for the city of Phoenix, Arizona, where he developed and managed delivery of major streets and mobility improvements as part of the Phoenix Street Transportation Department Transportation 2050 initiative, a voter-approved initiative expanding investment in street and transit improvements through 2050. Feek brings extensive experience, as he led the development and delivery of performance-based planning, programming, management consulting, project development and delivery initiatives for clients including the Texas Department of Transportation; Arizona Department of Transportation; Maricopa Association of Governments; City and County of Denver Department of Transportation and Infrastructure; Napa Valley Transportation Authority; City of Long Beach, City of Phoenix; Southeast Naval Facilities Command; and various MPOs throughout Arizona and California.

I am excited to have Justin Feek join our elite planning team and help lead our growth in long-range planning for state DOTs, communities, and MPOs,” said Christopher Nazar, CDM Smith senior vice president and the leader of the firm’s transportation services group. Justin has been a planning innovation and data driven decisions leader throughout his career, dating back to when we worked with him as a project manager at ADOT. I look forward to collaborating with him to bring context sensitive and leading-edge solutions for our transportation planning clients.

Feek has a bachelor’s degree in regional development from the University of Arizona and he is an excellent addition to the firm. With his focus area in long-range transportation planning, Feek enjoys, “understanding the unique natural and social opportunities and constraints facing communities and working to improve the quality of life and transportation choices for people of all walks of life.
