Mark White Named AWWA Engineering & Construction Division Trustee and Standards Council Representative
CHICAGO—CDM Smith vice president and drinking water discipline leader Mark White, PE, BCEE was named Engineering & Construction Division Trustee and Standards Council Representative for the American Water Works Association (AWWA). White has been an active member of AWWA for over 25 years, having previously served as the chair of the AWWA Membrane Systems Subcommittee. He has also authored more than 20 technical presentations on water treatment technologies at AWWA national conferences.
White is a registered professional engineer and board-certified environmental engineer with wide-ranging international experience in the planning, design, operations and maintenance, and construction of water treatment facilities. He has particular expertise in membrane technology, having served as project manager or membrane design lead for over 300 mgd of capacity, publishing widely on the subject, and providing industry leadership through the membrane committees of AWWA.
As a proven leader of AWWA, Mark’s experience and insight makes him an exciting asset as a Trustee and Standards Council member.
