Lilly Vang Recognized as 2022 EC&M 30 Under 30 Electrical All Star

ORLANDO—Electrical engineer Lilly Vang was recently recognized as Electrical Construc­tion and Maintenance’s (EC&M) 2022 30 Under 30 Electrical All Star. This award recognizes young profes­sion­als who have gone above and beyond, showing innovation, efficiency, and creativity while also incor­po­rat­ing technology into their jobs.

Vang originally joined CDM Smith in 2018 as a junior electrical engineer and has amassed experience in work including electrical design for water and wastewater treatment facilities, power system studies for facilities and naval bases, and various other assessment reports. She first learned about EC&M through a colleague, suggesting she subscribe for the valuable content on design, construc­tion, operations and maintenance that they offer.

“I am still in shock and disbelief, but it is an honor to be recognized amongst other profes­sion­als for EC&M's 30 Under 30. I'm very lucky to have coworkers and a manager that supported me in getting this award,” said Vang.

“Lilly is an excellent performer who loves to learn and is a highly productive member of our team. She delivers and supports large and complex projects and builds rela­tion­ships with others. Lilly is a great worker, a smart employee and a great team member. She actively contributes within the electrical practice and works with engineers more junior to her in a mentoring role,” said Spencer Perry, CDM Smith electrical engineer.
