Reece Adam
Reece is a Project Environmental Scientist, holding a BSc (with Majors in Environmental Science and Journalism) and a Certificate III in Drilling Operations. His work has taken him across Western Australia with notable work being initial ground truthing for Elizabeth Quay, Arnhem Land at Gove and Groote Eylandt.
Since joining CDM Smith in May 2021, he has been extensively involved in the regulatory, statutory and licensing requirements for multiple projects across Australia for Iron Ore, Gold, Lithium and Potash.
Reece primarily works within the closure, approvals and ESG spaces within CDM Smith Australia. He has also conducted field work in West Musgrave, Dutson Downs, Little Sandy Desert and Kununurra for drilling programs, flora surveys and on-site environmental assistance.
Reece’s experience preparing environmental assessment reports for mining projects has given him a good understanding of environmental legislation and the submission of Government environmental approval documents.I love the ability to work on diverse projects across Australia and having the opportunity to see this beautiful country whilst I do it
