June 16, 2014
CAMBRIDGE, Massachusetts—CDM Smith was selected by the Florida Department of Transportation’s (FDOT) Systems Planning Office to provide on-call services as part of a 3-year, $5 million master service agreement.
CDM Smith may be tasked to support any one of the office’s numerous programs, including managed lanes, access management, corridor feasibility studies, interchange access, outreach support activities and training programs.
“This agreement represents a tremendous opportunity for CDM Smith to support the state and Florida Department of Transportation’s goal of improving its intermodal system,” Bob Hamm, CDM Smith client service leader, noted. He mentioned that the firm is especially excited to collaborate on the managed lanes program, as Florida looks for innovative ways to fund the sustainability of its highways and ease congestion for drivers.
