River Basin Management Planning to Protect Ireland's Waters
CDM Smith was appointed lead consultant for the Eastern River Basin District on an 8-year, €10 million water management program. As part of this program, we published a river basin management plan and developed an implementation strategy for this 6,300-square-kilometer area, home to 1.6 million people.

The project will improve water delivery to domestic users and textile operations—preserving 48,000 jobs and creating approximately 6,000 additional jobs.
