River Basin Management Planning to Protect Ireland's Waters
CDM Smith was appointed lead consultant for the Eastern River Basin District on an 8-year, €10 million water management program. As part of this program, we published a river basin management plan and developed an implementation strategy for this 6,300-square-kilometer area, home to 1.6 million people.

Improving Water Services, Landfills and Roads in Densely Populated Areas
We have partnered with several state governments in India to provide program management, design and construction supervision, and regulatory compliance for urban development plans in cooperation with the Asian Development Bank, which is funding and facilitating the work. Projects include water services, landfills and roads.

The 2012 update to the EPA’s Guidelines for Water Reuse, which will be released in the fall, will cover a variety of technology options and serve as a guide for water reuse internationally. CDM Smith has been lead consultant on the publication since the first edition in 1980.
