Charlie Anderson Charlie Anderson (Fort Worth) was chosen to be president-elect of the American Water Works Association, and will be association president in June 2012. Khalil AtasiKhalil Atasi (Al-Khobar) received the 2010 University of Michigan (UM) Alumni Society Merit Award from the College of Engineering Civil and Environmental Engineering Department. He also received a special honor award from the UM Chapter of the Chi Epsilon National Civil Engineering Honor Society. Daniel BissonDaniel Bisson (Manchester) has been appointed president-elect of the New England Water Environment Association.  Paul BrownPaul Brown (Carlsbad) was invited to serve on the International Advisory Panel for the Institute of Water Policy under the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore. Sharon BudneySharon Budney (Edison) was elected president of the Society of American Military Engineers New Jersey Post for 2011. Adrienne Thorpe Adrienne Thorpe (New Orleans) was elected to the board of directors of the U.S. Green Building Council Louisiana Chapter. Sarah Tuite Sarah Tuite (Albuquerque) was named Young Engineer of the Year by the New Mexico Society of Professional Engineers Albuquerque Chapter.
