CDM Smith Promotes Makled and Wall

Roles align with firm’s global growth strategy

CAMBRIDGE, Massachusetts—CDM Smith has promoted Alex H. Makled, PE, BCEE, and Timothy B. Wall to executive vice president, joining the firm’s executive leadership team.

 
The addition of Alex Makled and Tim Wall truly enhances our executive leadership team as we continue to advance our global strategy. 

Previously, Makled had been leading CDM Smith’s Europe, Middle East & Africa Group with a staff of 800 employees in 11 countries. Makled holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Massachusetts and a master’s degree in civil engineering from Florida Atlantic University.

Wall had been leading CDM Smith’s Federal Services Group, providing solutions to departments and agencies of the United States federal government, including the Bureau of Reclamation; the Departments of Defense, Energy, Homeland Security and Transportation; the Environmental Protection Agency; and the Federal Emergency Management Agency around the world. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology, a master’s degree in environmental engineering from Tufts University and an MBA from Boston College.

Both Makled and Wall were elected to CDM Smith’s Board of Directors in April 2011.
